Founded in Amsterdam in 2024 by friends sipping on champagne.

Young Wine Society was built as a community; bringing together wine enthusiasts around the world.

Shannon and Daní started YWS to make wine more accessible and fun for everyone. They wanted to remove the slightly snooty and intimidating stereotype of a wine tasting or the recurring feeling of “I have to be knowledgeable about wine to properly taste it.”

They know younger audiences are drinking less, so they wanted to make wine super accessible, no pish posh, and more about the social and community experience of enjoying wine together. YWS partners with local small businesses (wine shops, importers, wine bars, etc. - you name it) to allow them to tell their story and share their love for wine as it is rare someone goes into a shop and really gets to know the shops’ origins or what it stands for.

Whether you know the difference between red or white (or don’t) or are looking to deepen your appreciation for wine, meet new friends, or enjoy some great bottles, this is the place for you.
